I have a yarn dyeing tutorial on my blog. You find the link at the top of the sidebar. It is in swedish, but if you use the google translator (also in the sidebar - scroll down) I think it will give you a clue on how I do it.
I have learned that the natural cotton I use is almost impossible to find outside scandinavia. I'm buying from vartofta.se - the yarn on hanks called Eliza 8/4 bigpack. You find it in the onlineshop under the meny "virkgarnder".
